New branding was implemented for each program area at Rice University's Recreation Center. The goal was to create logos that were similar in order to create cohesion, but unique enough to symbolize each program. The use of a shield speaks to Rice University's logo, as well as the logos of each college.

Heather and William wanted a unique invitation and RSVP card to their wedding, which was taking place the day after Halloween. Their request was to have a design that was like something out of a Tim Burton movie that symbolized a darker side of romance.

Senior Exhibition - May 2012
This series addresses an issue I dealt with while growing up in an upper class suburban area of Lower Michigan. People there are concerned with what you wear or the products you buy, and judge who you are as an individual based on those name brands and logos.
To me, this is not what truly defines who a person is. Personal interests, activities that we do, or things we collect are what identify us underneath these brands. This series represents the make-up of these three individuals by depicting how they would be seen by the brands they consume and by their personal interests.
These projects were completed when I held my Student Graphic Artist position at Northern Michigan University between 2010 and 2012.

The data displayed in this project consists of biographical information collected from the thirteen sport club teams at Northern Michigan University for the 2011-2012 season. Each club team member was asked his or her name, class, major, where they were originally from, how many years of experience they had playing that sport, and why they chose to attend NMU.
The following work is a personal experimentation using the phrase "alone but alive." The idea for this study came from the solo time I have spent out in the nature of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, as well as my social experiences with independence and individuality. I looked into the many ways solitude can be communicated using different words and imagery.
